Hello, Iām Dustin Knott āDKā. Iām born and raised in California. I’m the only deaf person in my hearing family. Iāve been involved with a lot of community activities ever since so Iām focusing on two important things. Iām on Disability Advisory Committee for Sacramento County and the Multilingual Advisory Access committee (MAAC) for all over the state of California. The point of both committees is to ensure equal access so itās important that you are receiving the same services as other regular people. Now, why am I here to join CAD? To give back to the community and being able to share and pass on my rich experiences with the next generation and uplift the deaf* community in California.
