California Association of the Deaf (CAD) wants to take the moment to thank you for producing the magical video about one of the awesome families – the McFeely-Johnson family from ASL Nook — whose children, Shaylee and Ivy, realized that the Disney characters were able to sign with them.
We applaud you for the accurate positive portrayal of a Deaf family empowered with American Sign Language. This is a small example of what we consider universal design where not only Deaf people but everyone else sign.
We look forward to your producing more videos with this universal design concept. CAD wants to let you know that it is a special video for those of us who love Disney and American Sign Language (ASL). We look forward to more videos like this one.
