Hello, my name is Diedre Tanenberg. I was born and raised as the only deaf child in a hearing family. Where did I grow up? Everywhere and nowhere but all over California. Now I live in the East Bay, California (in the San Francisco Bay Area). Why did I join CAD? I wanted to give back to your community by encouraging policy, community events, education and awareness by preparing deaf Californians through natural disasters. This includes reaching out to CODA, deaf, deafblind, late deafened and hard of hearing people plus including all identities. Thank you for letting me serve as your CAD Secretary! (Hand sign ILY)
