BEGIN TRANSCRIPT: Hello, my name is Jermaine Cornish as Vice President of CAD.
George Floyd, breaks my heart where cause our community severely damage based on our lives. Especially impact Black Lives Matter.
I just want to share from bottom of my heart, I am with you, We CAD need to stand up what is right, stand on what we believed in, stand what we can change our community thought our life reveal.
Once I read Quote, Martin Luther King Jr. His word really impacted me.
“Here is the true meaning and value of compassion and nonviolence, when it helps us to see the enemy’s point of view, to hear his questions, to know his assessment of ourselves. For from his view we may indeed see the basic weaknesses of our own condition, and if we are mature, we may learn and grow and profit from the wisdom of the brothers who are called the opposition.
I have tried to offer them my deepest compassion while maintaining my conviction that social change comes most meaningfully through non-violent action.”
As me POC (People of Color), it’s does impact me.
I asking you as a CAD member, Deaf (Hard of Hearing, Deaf-Blinded) community to show our alliance and show our respect to our community, especially Black Lives Matter.
We want all of our rights, we want them here, and we want them now, which lead to Preserved, Protect and Promote our right to exist as freely as possible.
If we stand together in solidarity with love, we can resist racism.
Again, I am asking you to continuing to make a noise and demand that the law must change where it is no longer acceptable to kill Black and Brown bodies. Bigotry, Hate, Prejudice had no place in our community. It is time to stand up for what is right. Thank you.

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT: Hello. I want to take a moment to breathe. Black Lives Matter.
George Floyd and many more black people in the past have been murdered. It broke my heart.
Black people have suffered for a very long time due to the inhumane treatment and murder of Black/African Americans. I send my LOVE for the most beautiful and brilliant colleagues and their families in pain and suffering. I acknowledge their plight of the black experience in America.
“Every Victim of Racism should minimize the time and effort spent doing anything other than thinking, speaking, and acting in a manner that helps to eliminate Racism, and helps to establish Justice (balance between people). Each person should seek to do this, every day, in every area of activity, including Economics, Education, Entertainment, Labor, Law, Politics, Religion, Sex, and War/Counter-War.” __ Neely Fuller, Jr.
As a Person of Color and CAD president, I am responsible for making sure our communities are protected and preserved. I encourage you all to invest in honest dialogue about what is happening around us. Take the time to think and look within and find ways you can support the black communities. Please take care of yourself and stay safe. #BlackLivesMatter
